State Street has a presence in Krakow, Poland since November, 2007. Our primary business is focused on Fund Accounting, Hedge Fund Accounting, Pricing Administration, Derivative Administration and Financial Reporting. Today State Street has over 1000 employees at multiple sites in Krakow.

At the moment we are looking for candidates for the position of

Accountant - Associate 1 English Speaking

to join the State Street Europe ? Division of Finance organization supporting the State Street EMEA

Job ID: 53163 / Location: Krakow

Purpose of the Position:

  • Transitioning the finance and accounting activities from the local country finance unit to a newly formed organization located in Krakow
  • Ensuring operational readiness including relevant process documentation and training received
  • Performing daily, weekly or monthly finance and/or accounting activities/tasks in a timely and accurate manner under the direction of the management

Qualifications:

  • Finance or Accounting education
  • 1 year of basic Accounting experience
  • Fluent language skills, written and verbal in English
  • PC application knowledge and Excel skill-set are necessary
  • Demonstrated good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under time pressure, give accurate and timely delivery
  • Pro-active approach, with initiative, detailed oriented and reliability
