Accountant – Budget & Financial Reporting
For our Client – an international Oil & Gas exploration and production company – we are looking for experienced Candidates for Accountant – Budget & Financial Reporting.
Person on this position will be responsible for preparing:
- the annual budget for the upcoming year,
- forecast updates during year (2x10, etc),
- monthly and annual financial reports, budgets and financial reports for Partners,
- cash forecast for Treasury, Approval Authority,
- contract reviews, policies and procedures, and ad hoc reports.
Scope of duties will also include administering Warsaw office timewriting system, administering Warsaw allocations (set up, confirm bases, monitor for proper processing), and performing account reconciliations pertinent to function and as assigned.
This person will report to the Finance & Administration Manager in the Warsaw office. The person will be in close contact and with Operations Management and all disciplines involved in Poland activities, both in Poland and in Corporate Headquarters outside of Poland. The person will also cooperate with Accounting employees in other international offices.
An ideal candidate for this vacancy has:
- Bachelor degree in Accounting (is required),
- very strong technical accounting background,
- good knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS,
- advanced practical knowledge of Excel,
- very good skills in Microsoft Office applications,
- advanced level in English and Polish,
- accounting certification (CPA/ACCA/Certificate of Ministry of Finance) is preferable,
- knowledge of SAP system is an advantage.
Experience in Upstream Oil & Gas Accounting would be an advantage. Experience in Energy or construction sector is helpful. We are looking for open-minded and flexible person, who has very good communications skills on each level of the organization and analytical thinking. Candidates should be open for travelling at the beginning of cooperation.
Position Overview: Learn Oil and Gas accounting principles necessary to perform responsibilities.
Learn oil and gas accounting principles necessary to perform responsibilities. Compile annual budget and forecast input, and various financial reports as needed. Maintain accounting allocations related to Poland operations, and manage timewriting process for work performed in Poland. Perform account reconciliations as assigned.
Learn tasks related to other positions in Accounting Department as requested, in order to increase understanding of overall group function and back up other positions when needed. Responsibilities within department may be reassigned as needed in order to achieve proper balance and efficiency of group.
First contract will be signed for one year. After this time period is possibility for extending cooperation with company.
