Department Description: Motorola Solutions Finance Operation Service Center is a department of Motorola in Kraków. Responsibilities/Expectations: The Receivables Team Leader is responsible for protecting Motorola's assets and maximizing cash collections by managing a team of Customer Account Analysts who are responsible for enforcing contract and payment terms.
The AR TL will enforce the adherence to established policies, procedures, and approval authorities to ensure compliance with governmental requirements to minimize loss to Motorola. In addition, the Team Leader is charged with developing the employee's skills and expertise to mature his/her career opportunities.

Specifically:
- The Receivables Team Leader guides the Customer Account Analyst to maximize the performance of his/her Account Portfolio and recommends the appropriate collection activity to collect payment when deemed necessary
- Review and approve recommend actions for accounts deemed uncollectible with respect to 3rd party assistance and/or reserves for doubtful accounts
- Give guidance when needed to assist with reconciliation of unresolved customer account activity
- Perform periodic review of Customer Account Analyst's delinquent accounts and assist with escalation if necessary
- Review and approve resolution plans for disputed items
- Approve monthly Cash Collection Forecast and account reviews to aid upper management with projecting cash flow
- Periodically create content for Managerial Operations Reviews
- Audit adherence to documented policies and procedures
- Provide guidance for the approval of orders within the parameters set for a customer's credit limit by managing promised payments, pending orders & balancing the need for temporary credit limits
- Plans, organizes and assumes responsibility for the quality and timeliness of the Billing team's work
- Ensures compliance with company policies, relevant accounting and tax requirements and internal controls (SOX)
- Proactively improves the quality of billing through identification and resolution of issues and continuous improvement of the process
- Ensures the billing tasks are done efficiently, accurately and timely
- Requires analysis of project life cycle and associated deferred receivable and shipments
- Raises manual invoices, debit and credit memos
- Resolves invoice generation issues
- Maintains quality metrics
- Interfaces with outsourced provider of invoice printing and delivery services
- Gathers supporting documentation for manual invoices, debit memos and credit memos
- Works with collections specialist on billing issues
- Works with order management to resolve errors / issues

Knowledge Skills: - Master's Degree in Economy / Finance /Accounting
- Excellent English
- Minimum 4 years AR or Accounting experience including team management, preferably in multinational organization and/or SSC environment
- Willingness to work USA hours (2nd shift)
- Process-oriented with solid problem-solving and analytical skills
- Sense of urgency & ability to follow through on commitments
- Make decisions using sound judgment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence
- Ability to multi task & work independently
- Ready to work flexible hours when needed due to cooperation with USA
- Advanced in MS Excel with basic knowledge in other MS applications
- Knowledge in Oracle a plus
