We are looking for candidates for the position of: Associate Developer Java/VXML

A successful candidate will be responsible to develop accurate, efficient and easy to maintain software applications for HSBC Bank. The deliverables should be well tested, accompanied with good documentation, according to specification and set standards, and completed within the allocated timeline. Main Duties: - analyze and propose solutions based on business requirements,
- produce accurate, clear, commented and efficient program code from a wide range of program specifications,
- amend and produce External and Internal specifications and standard documentation as required at each stage of project lifecycle, including database / application design,
- review test data output for program / system modification accuracy,
- investigate live system faults, diagnose problems, propose and provide solutions,
- complete projects in a timely manner.
Requirements: - university or Technical College graduate (preferable in IT),
- experience in Java and VoiceXML,
- knowledge of jsp, servlets, session handling, database interaction , java script, html,
- knowledge of the Call Centre CTI/C2G solutions,
- an ability to rapidly and effectively understand and translate product and business requirements into technical solutions,
- good command of English.
Desired: - working experience in a bank or a financial institution will be an advantage,
- experience of supporting, modifying and maintaining systems and code developed by teams other than your own
