Praca Business Analyst - IT Operational Risk

The UBS Poland Service Centre Central Risk Services (CRS) team provides a multitude of services to the Operational Risk Mangers within the Bank, including: ORF (Operational Risk Framework) related activities (Self-Certification, Heatmap, etc.), risk reporting, exception process, risk assessment tools and processes, vulnerability management, metrics collection, standards management.

The CRS IT Business Analyst is required to work with IT Risk and IT streams. You will be responsible for correlating data from different sources, analysing business requirements, identifying patterns, trends, and conclusions gained from the analyzed data. The CRS Business Analyst will also support senior IT Risk management by creating reports and presentations

• Analysis and business intelligence based on data produced from the risk processes (Operational Risk Inventory (ORI), Health Check, ServiceNow, Action Plan Tracking Tool, etc.)
• Correlation of data, identification or pattern and issues
• Summarizing findings, conclusions, and recommendations in senior management compatible presentations and reports
• Translating the findings into requirements so that they can be used by the UBS PSC Reporting & Engineering team to increase and adapt their reporting service capabilities
• Conduct Operational Risk inventory (ORI) consistency checks and quality assurance
• ORI administration (completeness and compliance checks), systemic reviews

• University degree or equivalent
• Professional experience in broad IT background (preferable in banking)
• Excellent skills in MS Excel, MS Access , MS PowerPoint including VBA programming,
• ITIL, ISO 27001 certification would be beneficial, but not essential
• Experience in IT Risk management and risk tool areas would be beneficial
• Project management and business analysis skills
• Data analysis and data mining skills
• Programming exposure beneficial, but not essential
• Database schema and functional appreciation beneficial, but not essential
• Business Objects/Xcelcius or equivalent reporting skills would be additional asset
• Fluent English (both verbal and written skills) is a must, German would be an advantage
