Praca Business Analyst

The position provides the opportunity to develop foundational consulting skills working alongside senior consulting staff and subject matter experts. You will work on a variety of challenging assignments to assist public sector clients achieve their performance goals and better serve the public. Typical responsibilities may include:

• Developing functional specifications documenting new features to enhance functionality of a web-based tool to manage individual education plans for students with special learning needs
• Using technical acuity to define business requirements, test system functionality, and implement innovative web-based applications with leading clients
• Assisting with the preparation of materials for training seminars
• Working with clients to provide training on PCG systems and services
• Providing services to schools in the areas of special education management systems, data warehousing, data analytics, and school finance/restructuring 
• Developing presentations for and attending conferences/seminars 
• Participating on proposal development teams, including writing sections, coordinating efforts and preparing proposal submissions
• Creating project plans, managing agendas, capturing meeting notes, and preparing and presenting written status reports for clients
• Providing project management support to more senior project team members
• Defining, documenting and proposing suggested means to improving business processes
• Conducting policy reviews and other research
• Gathering and analyzing data

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience in education, health care or human services preferred.
