EXPORT FINANCE MANAGER

Job Purpose:
- To manage the finance function with the CEDC International Export Division ensuring the business operates within a robust framework of financial control.
- Export Finance Manager is a new position in our Group.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure robust financial management and control at all levels including Pricing, Sales, Customer Discounts, Marketing Investment, Distribution Costs and Local Overheads. Challenge colleagues to maximise profitability at all levels of the P&L
- Ensure financial integrity and appropriate business analysis to identify opportunities, risks and trends, along with ad-hoc analysis to ensure that all decisions are supported by comprehensive financial analysis
- Maintain timely and accurate delivery of Financial Calendar including Monthly Reporting, Budgeting, Latest Estimates, Five Year Planning, in line with Group requirements
- Manage the initial set up of the financial accounting and reporting systems in line with group standards
- Ensure all local license applications and registrations are made in a timely manner
- Liaise closely with all relevant functions (sales, marketing, production, group finance, logistics) to ensure a smooth back office operation
Our expectations:- An experienced finance manager (typically 6+ years of experience)
- Experience of working in an International business
- Experience or exposure of operating within a logistics function / operation
- Excellent ERP and PC skills and knowledge of relevant software applications to deliver effective management reporting and analysis
- Ability to adhere to deadlines and adopt a challenging approach to deliver robust, accurate financial data and information to meet business needs
- Fluent in English
- A strong leader - able to communicate and interact with a wide range of individuals across functions, geographies, and levels
