For our client, an international B2B distribution company, we are looking for an ambitious and hands-on candidate for the Finance Controller position. The successful candidate will have a unique opportunity to become part of local management team in the newly created international corporate structure. The purpose of this role is to ensure that company, in all its operations, adheres to all applicable SOX rules and principles.

Opis stanowiska / Job description

- Ensure timely preparation of all required financial reports in order to meet all local tax and legal requirements
-Run all the company's operations in compliance with SOX entity level & key control principles.
- Daily management of all financial and tax matters in Poland
- Management of budgeting and forecasting processes; short-term and long-term planning
- Business Management Support - as a part of the management team oversee and manage all operations of the company, look for new opportunities, propose and implement new business initiatives, give recommendations
- Develop standards and establishing overall priorities concerning finance ; improve processes and procedures to maximize the efficiency, accountability for performance management

Kogo szukamy / Profile description

- Higher education in finance or accountancy field
- Professional qualifications (ACCA, CIMA or Chartered Accountant) will be a strong asset
- Practical knowledge of US GAAP is necessary
- At least 5 years of experience in financial controlling or BIG 4
- Ability to provide clear leadership and motivate people, demonstrated strong influencing skills
- Hands-on approach and result driven
- Strong analytical and critical reasoning skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
