Mentor Graphics, leader in Electronic Design Automation (EDA), is establishing a regional finance and accounting support centre in Katowice.  This centre will support 30 Mentor Graphics entities located in Europe, Russia, Armenia, Israel and offers excellent opportunities for individuals with a broad audit and/or general financial accounting background to further develop their skills in a dynamic, hi-tech and international environment. 

Applications are invited for the position of:

Financial Accountant - Accounts Payable
(with Russian and/or Hebrew)
Miejsce pracy: Katowice

As part of a team delivering in an international environment, specific responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting transactions related to purchase to pay process, employee expense reimbursement, fixed assets and intercompany
  • Responsible for accurate and timely postings in line with internal control policies, statutory regulations and Group standards
  • Assisting during month-end closing activities including account reconciliations
  • Assisting in the development, implementation, maintenance and/or utilization of accounting and or financial systems/models, finance and accounting concepts, internal controls and reporting
  • Supports operational and cross-functional teams
  • Prepares other ad-hoc reports

Job Qualifications:

  • Higher education
  • Experience in shared services center will be considered an asset
  • Strong motivation to work in a dynamic international team
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office (advanced MS Excel) required; experience with SAP or similar ERP solution an advantage
  • Languages: fluency in English required + good knowledge of Russian and/or Hebrew
