Praca General Manager

For our Client an international manufacturer and distributor of highly specialized industrial equipment we are looking for a suitable candidate for the General Manager role.

The General Manager will directly oversee all functions of a start – up business including engineering, manufacturing, sales, finance and operations departments to achieve overall profitability and will be responsible for the overall financial performance of the company.

Having insight in production calculations and analysis you will supervise the whole manufacturing cycle from planning, budgeting and forecasting through raw material sourcing and procurement as well as supply chain management.

 With a demonstrated track record of success in growing a business you will establish sales and profit goals and will be accountable for meeting or exceeding targets on a consistent basis and have overall responsibility for the company’s budget planning

 Implementing best practices you will create an atmosphere of continuous improvement in all facets of the operation and increase self-directed work through the promotion and development of LEAN principles in the office and the plant operation.

We are looking for an experienced commercially driven self-starter, with 8+ years of proven track record in growing a business, improving operational efficiency and driving productivity. Industrial sales and marketing experience strongly preferred. Previous P&L responsibility along with a strong understanding of key financial metrics is a must.
