At the end of 2009, Raiffeisen International announced its intention to enter the CEE markets with a new direct banking model. Poland will be one of the first countries where the new direct bank will introduce its products and services. The bank will be aimed specifically at technologically-skilled people who prefer to use the internet as the primary communication channel with their bank.

ZUNO BANK AG, the direct banking subsidiary of Raiffeisen Bank International AG (RBI), has recently launched its operations in the Czech Republic, having successfully implemented its innovative concept in Slovakia at the end of 2010.

HEAD OF ADVERTISING & COMMUNICATIONS ZUNO

In this ambitious position you will be responsible for developing and managing the ZUNO brand – from strategy to implementation. You will manage all marketing communication channels including ATL/BTL, online marketing, consumer PR and social media.

Responsible for brand and communication strategy for the entire bank across countries
Supports and contributes to the total sales and marketing strategy for the bank
Ensures all marketing activities (4P’s) are in line with the overall brand positioning
Develops and manages media strategy and ensures alignment in country execution
Owns and manages the marketing budget with focus on optimization across countries and communication channels
Constantly seeks for new and innovative ways to generate customer ‘traffic’ as cost effectively as possible (CPA is the key metric)
Exploits synergies across the countries, utilizes opportunities for adaptations and joint development projects
Supports country General Managers and local specialists in developing and executing advertising and communication programs
Manages vendors and agencies incl. contract negotiation, budgeting and quality check
Works cross-functionally in HO to ensure consistency on both priorities and execution regarding marketing communications and branding

8 years marketing experience, min 5 in management position
Experience in designing and implementing marketing strategies
Proven expertise in positioning, communication strategy, media planning, campaign planning and execution
Experience in banking / financial services is a plus
Experience in ‘online’ marketing is a plus
Experience in advertising development both TV and online
Experience in consumer PR and social media
Experience in managing vendors
Experience in managing large budgets… and drive ‘spend effectiveness’
Proven ability to work and influence diverse groups at all levels within organization
Strong/excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strategic thinking capabilities
Strong analytical skills / data driven
Experienced in managing people
Proven project management skills
Cultural sensitivity
Precise, self-reliant, learning continuously
Capability to write and deliver fact-based presentations and recommendations
Excellent command of English language
Strong command of more than one of the following languages is an advantage (Polish, Slovak, Czech, Hungarian, Slovenian, Russian)
