Scope of Responsibilities / Expectations:
- HRdirect is a centralized team within MMI's HR People Services organization, consisting of HR representatives that provide human resources support for Motorola Mobility employees and managers
Responsibilities Include:
- Serves as the primary HR contact for MMI employees, utilizing knowledge base and case management tools to assist employees in completing their human resource transactions and issue resolution
- Inputs, updates, and/or retrieves information from various automated human resource systems such as MMI’s Learning Management System tool
- Responds to Learning enquiries and provides Learning support including course and materials administration, learning reporting and learning vendor administration
- Provides information to answer questions from employees and managers regarding human resource transactions
- Develops strategies for implementing operational efficiencies by reviewing HR work flows, procedures, and performance
- Executes human resources policies and procedures. Builds and maintains positive, effective, and mutually beneficial-working alliances within the HR organization
- Refers employees to appropriate HR partner organizations (HRIS, Staffing, Payroll, IT, Compensation, Benefits, etc) as needed
- Initiates problem solving action and follows through to resolution
- Assists with projects and processes to analyze and develop successful operational execution
- All other duties as assigned
Specific Knowledge / Skills:
- Demonstrates a basic understanding of employee relations and Human Resources policies, systems, and service delivery models
- Previous experience as an HR Generalist / HR Administrator or a similar role
- Previous experience in an internal/external customer facing role, ideally phone based
- Excellent command of English language, any other major European language would be advantageous
- Knowledge of general human resource practices
- Ability to handle high volume of employee inquiry (phone/email/chat) while maintaining a positive attitude
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to communicate and partner effectively within a global organization
- Any Learning related experience would be advantageous
- Knowledge of various computer software applications such as Windows 2007 and Gmail
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, ideally in a related field
