Our Client is an international FMCG Company, a leader in its industry. In connection with the development of the company we are currently looking for the right candidate for the position of Indirect Procurement Leader for Germanic Region. Warsaw will be a place of work.
The chosen candidate will be responsible for optimising the management of the indirect spend for a subsidiary and specific categories on a region basis. The Candidate will take over the procurement responsibility for the category within the Germanic region, and facilitates alignment for the development and implementation of regional sourcing strategies. The person will also lead or support the sourcing process and implement of sourcing decisions for all indirect spends. Our Client expects a person who will develop and execute plans to achieve annual savings target. The person will work collaboratively with team members, stakeholder and suppliers to develop and monitor project plans to ensure sourcing projects are delivered on time and within budget. Participation in the development and negotiation of contract agreements with suppliers will be also a part of the duties.
Our Client expects candidates with bachelor’s degree. We look for candidates with a few years of broad-based Indirect Procurement experience. Our Client expects a candidate with extensive knowledge and understanding of indirect procurement spend categories, procurement processes, change and project management methodologies, along with e-procurement processes and tools. International experience will be additional advantage. Outstanding negotiation, analytical and project management skills are essential. We expect proactive candidates with high focus on delivering results and excellent command of the German and English language (both fluent German and English are a MUST). Knowledge of purchasing system eBuy will be a strong advantage.
