Instrumentation, Controls & Electrical Engineer

Siemens Energy Engineering Center in Wroclaw is involved in power generation industry projects: engineering and commissioning of instrumentation and control of electrical systems. We are actively recruiting engineers experienced in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or Project Management. As Instrumentation, Controls & Electrical Engineer you will work in the area of electrical engineering on power plants of various types.

What are my responsibilities?

Performance of electrical engineering planning, and functional design work in terms of economic and technical concerns, as part of a power plant project.
Functional design, calculation, planning for electrical components and electrical equipment installation
Commissioning of electrical systems on site all over the world

What do I need to qualify for this job?

Master’s Degree
Long-term experience in electrical power plant design and engineering (e.g. LV / MV and HV-switchgear, transformers, bus-duct, protection and synchronizing, cabling)
Experience in project management and/or bid management
Fluency in English language
Readiness for world-wide travelling
Strong problem solving and decision making skills
High interpersonal and communication skills
Additional advantage would be German language, experience in international companies and in site management or in electrical commissioning
