At the moment we are looking for candidates for the position of

Investment Compliance Analyst Associate 1

to join the Finance & Accounting insource organization supporting the State Street EMEA

Purpose of the Position:

  • Investment Compliance Analyst will be responsible for monitoring compliance results on client portfolios related to Regulatory and Investment Manager (IM) mandates. Utilizing State Street’s Investment Compliance & Reporting platform, the qualified candidate will complete the research, analysis and reporting to ensure portfolios are in compliance with their investment restrictions.  

 

Responsibilities:

  • Verify portfolios on a monthly, weekly or daily basis utilizing an Investment Compliance & Reporting platform.
  • Perform research and analysis of compliance results, and validate compliance breaches for accuracy.
  • Maintain detailed documentation on client and investment management guidelines.
  • Liaise with internal State Street departments such as Accounting, Performance & Analytics, and other Daily/Monthly Fund Groups.
  • Assist more senior staff in designated projects and assignments.
  • Communicate with external clients/IM’s as needed
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics or related field.
  • Knowledge of financial services, securities industry and capital markets
  • Attention to detail, strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent PC skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Experience in using Bloomberg will be advantageous
