The Seatrans IT environment is at the forefront within our industry in virtualization and technological solutions. We are seeking to expand our Bergen-based  three-man team with a fourth IT resource located in Poland. We run and serve around seventy servers and a few hundred computers distributed across five locations and approximately twenty vessels.

• The position will report to the IT Manager and will be a dedicated IT Helpedsk towards the fleet - mostly via remote access but some travelling will be required.
• You will take part in daily IT administration and maintenance or as a dedicated resource in relevant projects appointed by the IT Manager.

• Preferably you have relevant education and experience from similar environment - planning, building and maintaining Microsoft based infrastructure, and working on client administration, network&security, different types of communication methods, mobile units, groupware solutions etc.
• Experience from virtualized environments is an advantage.
• Our groupware platform is Lotus Notes/Domino, so qualifications within this area is required either by experience or through training.
