Junior Security Engineer

Responsibilities:
Creating or maintaining security documentation
Managing secure environments, defining security concepts and performing internal Security audits
Reviewing Web Application Firewall (WAF) security logs and modifying configuration to improve accuracy
Creating automated reports and monitoring for possible Security violations
Managing 3rd party partners providing Security services for the office and data center
Validating “Firewall Change requests” feasibility and impact on security policies and network architecture and sending approval to 3rd party partners for implementation
Performing risk and impact analysis on proposed changes and projects to the security infrastructure
Reviewing vulnerability reports, providing remediation and mitigation solutions
Providing clear, concise, timely and constructive recommendations regarding IT security in all areas related to information systems and networks
Participating in solving technical issues in collaboration with the support team
Pushing Security “Best practices” towards other teams
Requirements:
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent through experience
Strong knowledge in system security, network security and security design
Good overview of IT security threats and vulnerabilities
Autonomous, proactive and good problem solving skills
Team player able to convey the importance of IT Security to other teams
Sound analytical skills as well as the ability to provide practical conclusions
Fluency in English
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ethical hacking or IT Security certification is a plus
