State Street has a presence in Krakow, Poland since November, 2007. Our primary business is focused on Fund Accounting, Hedge Fund Accounting, Pricing Administration, Derivative Administration and Financial Reporting. Today State Street has over 1050 employees at multiple sites in Krakow.

At the moment we are looking for candidates for the position of

Market Data Analyst, Associate 1

to join the Finance & Accounting insource organization supporting the State Street EMEA

Purpose of the Position:

  • Market Data Analyst will be responsible for daily market data collection, validation and reconciliation tasks. This will include terms and conditions data, pricing inputs such as interest rates and security prices and also benchmark data

Responsibilities:

  • Daily collection and uploading of market data to truView
  • Daily validation and reconciliation of all market data loaded to truView
  • Amending data to ensure accuracy and the preparation of exception reports
  • Liaise with other Global Risk Services locations
  • Ad hoc data sourcing, loading and validation as required
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • University degree in Finance, Accountancy or related field.
  • Knowledge of financial services, securities industry and capital markets
  • Attention to detail, strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent PC skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Experience using Reuters, Interactive Data and Bloomberg platforms will be advantageous
