The NCE delivers the technologies, solutions and services customers need to expertly manage their networks. The scope of responsibilities assigned to the position: - Understand and document customers requirements for a Unified Communications and Contact Center network roll out or Cisco Business Video Network deployment
- Translate customer requirements into a High Level Network Design Document (HLD)
- Develop Low Level Design for individual components of a HLD like Dial Plan, Gateway Implementation and so on.
- Develop a Network Implementation Plan
- Develop a Network Acceptance Test Plan
- Configure different devices in a UC and a Cisco Contact Center network
- Execute the network implementation and network acceptance test plan
The qualifications and personal skills we are looking for are: - Degree with strong success in Maths, Engineering and/or IT areas
- Cisco certifications like CCVP, CCIE a definitive plus, VCP Certification a plus
- Good understanding of Internetworking technologies like Routing and Switching, TCP/IP and so on
- Good understanding of Cisco Unified Communication products like Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Unified Contact Center Enterprise (UCCE), Cisco Unfied Contact Center Express (UCCX), Cisco Unified Presence, Cisco Voice Gateways, Cisco Unified Voice Portal, Cisco Unified ICM and/or Business Video products like Cisco Tele Presence, Tandberg Products, CMTS
- Good understanding of voice protocols like MGCP, H322, SIP, RTP and/or video control protocols like SIP , H323, SCCP plus Knowledge of Video Codecs, MCU, Transcoding, Video protocols (H.261, 264), Interoperability (desired)
- Understanding of Dial Planning, trunk configuration, SCCP and SIP Line side features
- Ability to work in a distributed global team of Network Consulting Engineer on a delivery project
- Ability to communicate effectively in English as well as one of the major European languages both verbally and in writing (French preferred).
