Job Description

The primary purpose of the Network Engineer – Security Specialist is to provide technical support on such network and security appliances as firewalls, proxy servers, authentication servers, VPN concentrators, content filtering servers, IPS, IDS, IDP. This support is provided to a large number of Atos Origin customers ensuring that the service meets or exceeds the established Service Level Agreements and quality standards.This role is in Access and Security Services unit, which is part of the Network and Security Services unit within Managed Operations. The Access and Security Services unit is comprised of a team of experienced Network Engineers who provide second level support services to a large variety of Atos Origin customers all over the world

Technical Competencies

Good knowledge and experience of networking and security services
Good knowledge of the physical configuration of IT systems
Experience of a client / server environment
Skills and experience in one or more of the following technical areas:
- network configurations and protocols,
- hardware technologies,
- operating systems,
Ability to structure and draft technical documentation

Essential Qualifications:

English at least on upper-intermediate level
Experience in security and networking
Linux"Unix foundations

Additional Advantages:

Knowledge or experience in Cisco, Juniper, CheckPoint, Fortinet security solutions
CCNA, JNCIA, CCSA (or equivalent) qualification
Knowledge in IDP/IPS security solutions
Knowledge in management network tools
Second foreign language (French or German)
