At the moment, we are looking for experienced candidates who would like to join our exclusive team of accounting professionals providing Record to Report services to our Client, Cisco Systems, the worldwide leader in network solutions, ranked on the Fortune 500

Chief Accountants Lead

The candidate should be able to:

Drive the innovations and changes in the process
Lead projects concerning below aspects
Be a key focal point from an Opex viewpoint and should provide US GAAP expertise and local compliance support to local and regional Management teams
The individual is not expected to necessarily have local accounting expertise in all the countries and entities covered, but should be able to understand, interpret and effectively manage different treatments through advice provided by the third party vendor or outside support that will be co-responsible for the Stat/ Tax Compliance for the country
Act as escalation point of contact for finance issues resolution and coordinate with process leads to ensure timely and accurate bookings
Act as a focal point for statutory & tax compliance Vendor, cooperating with Client's Tax Team and Finance Team, build and maintain relationship with local Tax authorities
Fulfill the role of main point of contact for the external service provided for compliance, execution and associated local filings and audits for the entities
Fulfill advisory role for Client's Senior Executive Team, build strong relationship with key stakeholders and provide support to employees population
Complete annual Tax packages
Support internal/external audit compliance on Stat/Tax
Complete segmented P&L exercise
Conduct periodic Balance Sheet reviews
Perform monthly report activities for all the entities under his/her responsibility
Review and submit Tax Returns for Finance Managers
Review and submit draft local statutory financial statements before submission to Client's Finance Manager for final sign off
Share best practice in standardization of transactional processing and effectively manage optimization and transformation projects

Requirements:

Experience: 6-8 years F&A working experience, ideally 4 years of relevant working experience gained in an international/global environment on similar role
Skills and qualifications:
- strong accounting background and a strong working knowledge of US GAAP
- ability to read and understand local requirements and valid treatments for both Local and GAAP purposes
- effective communication skills
- proactive issues resolution
- focused on process improvements
- strong business understanding and acumen
Languages: fluent English
Master degree in accountancy, economics or finance
CIMA, ACCA, CPA qualifications might be advantage [even in progress]
Other:

MS Office (mainly Excel) skills are essential
ERP literacy is an advantage (Oracle)
