BAS Trucks is an independent subsidiary in BAS Group that focuses on the im- and export of new and used trucks and trailers. On a weekly basis approximately 100 trucks and trailers are sold to more than 90 countries worldwide. Over the years, BAS Trucks has distinguished itself as a professional player in the world wide truck market. As a result, BAS Trucks is one of the biggest players in Europe.

The international trade in trucks is done more and more through our websites and webportals (250.000 unique visitors a month). We therefore have developed our own custom-built ERP system in PHP. Our department Business Development works daily very enthusiastic to make the organization more efficiently. We always strive to grow and for that reason innovation and e-commerce is in the top of mind of our management with full support!

PHP Programmer

Location: Veghel

Requirements:

What kind of developer are we looking for? First of all, a colleague that is enthusiastic, but also:

2 or more years’ experience with PHP (OO)/MySQL and in addition experience with Javascript, CSS and HTML or
2 or more years’ experience with Javascript, CSS and HTML combined with PHP skills
Sufficient knowledge and demonstrable experience with the Zend Framework
Experience with the ATK Framework (is a plus)
Understands what API’s are and what they do
Knows what RESTful services are
Knowledge and experience with yui and Javascript-mvc
Knowledge of User Interface designs
Thinks along about solving ‘problems’
Likes to discuss with other colleagues both technical and commercial
Flexible in work and time
Work and think level of a Bachelor
Is committed and passionate
Good communication skills
Is accurate and stress resistant
Speaks English fluently (English is the carrier language of the department)
Realizes that working at BAS Trucks is not a ‘9 to 5 job’!
