Projektino (www.projektino.com) is a cloud-based collaboration and project management platform that helps people to collaborate on a common goal. It has all the social operating system features such as profiles, groups, activity streams and feeds. Our mission is to provide a cloud-based social collaboration tool for people irrespective of whether somebody works in a company, is a freelancer, teacher or a student. With projects as the main vehicle for getting things done, solutions should exist that enable people such as entrepreneurs, investors, leaders or project managers to collect the right experts for the job at hand and get it done.

Project Manager - Business Developer

Region Name: pomorskie
Projektino is currently looking for Business Developers with project management experience to join our start-up team. We are looking for people in Europe,  the US, Canada and Asia who will cover their country of residence. Candidates should have entrepreneurial experience combined with experience from holding a Project Manager position in a corporation. Candidates should also have natural sales instincts, strong technical aptitude and an entrepreneurial spirit. You role will be to generate new business within the SMB segment of your local market and you will participate in the development of the Projektino platform according to company strategy and customer needs in close cooperation with the CEO. Candidates who contribute to the success of our company will participate in our stock options program.

Responsibilities: Business development of local market (country of residence)

  • Grow the client base of the Projektino.com service in local market  
  • Understand and assess customer requirements as well as corporate structure as it applies to roll out and adoption of Projektino.com
  • Evaluate and identify resource needs during the start-up phase of activities in local market
  • Report on sales activity and make sales forecasts
  • Participate in client meetings
  • Carry out presentations and on-line demos of Projektino.com via web technologies
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with customers
  • Oversee customers’ adoption, training and development of best practices
  • Build long-term, sustainable and profitable relationships at all levels of customer organization
  • Participate in field marketing events within region
  • Facilitate the development of a community of like Projektino.com customers by routinely sharing best practices and leveraging lessons learned

Project management

  • Work closely with CEO of Projektino.com to distill key functionality and benefits into core product marketing messages
  • Manage the delivery of the system’s business design (with support from CEO) by having an understanding of strategy, business and technology  
  • Work with product development to help shape product features and road-map and to ensure that business requirements are included in the platform
  • Cooperate with Projektino.com IT project lead and software development team on new releases of the platform
  • Support the testing team to prepare test cases and execute user tests
  • Work closely with CEO to execute creative & innovative online marketing campaigns, SEO, and web design
  • Provide input to contingency plans by early recognition of potential problems, both business and technological
  • Develop and improve quality processes

Required Experience and Skills:

Business Development

  • Proven record of sales success in enterprise application environment (CRM/ERP/Cloud); (strong customer references preferred)
  • Experience in social media and cloud space
  • Proven experience in managing complex project implementations
  • Ability to manufacture deals and think outside the box
  • Strong customer focus

Project Management

  • Experience in project management and software release management, preferably for cloud/SaaS (especially start-up and practical project management knowledge gained in an entrepreneurial environment)
  • Experience in assuring quality and in cooperating with software development and testing teams
  • Proven track record of leading the business part of a project from start until roll-out of a system and demonstrated ability in growing new products
  • Understanding of how to weigh the priority of project tasks and direct team accordingly

Personal skills

  • Tenacity, drive and desire to succeed in a start-up environment
  • Attention to detail and strong commitment to quality
  • Strong initiative, pro-activeness and a positive attitude
  • Flexibility, with ability to think and focus on delivering results
