Quality Manager


Qualifications and experience:

  • Engineering degree in a field preferably related to Quality Management.
  • Certified Quality Management Representative.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in delivering on commitments.
  • Extraordinary drive for results.
  • Strong focus on driving continuous improvement in the field of Quality Management.
  • Sound knowledge in the field of Continuous Improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Excellent written and spoken English.

Rolls-Royce Marine production facility is looking for an experienced and talented person responsible for managing all quality related matters. This position reports directly to the Manufacturing Manager.

Location: Gniew (relocation or commuting from other provinces needed)

Key accountabilities:

  • Deploying business plans that deliver the quality strategy and objectives.
  • Pulling on functional resources so that they are adequately applied to deliver the quality plans.
  • Supporting continuous improvement and process excellence programmes to deliver results for quality.
  • Implementing effective problem resolution process.
  • Establishing robust corrective & preventative action plans for major quality investigations.
  • Maintaining the Quality System for the plant that is consistent with the Rolls-Royce Quality Management System (RRQMS).
  • Delivering the quality training requirements for the area.
  • Defining and managing the audit programme within the plant or functions.
  • Effectively leading and developing Quality team to ensure all the key accountabilities are met.
