State Street has a presence in Krakow, Poland since November, 2007. Our primary business is focused on Fund Accounting, Hedge Fund Accounting, Pricing Administration, Derivative Administration and Financial Reporting. Today State Street has over 1050 employees at multiple sites in Krakow.

At the moment we are looking for candidates for the position of

Risk Analyst, Associate 2

to join the Finance & Accounting insource organization supporting the State Street EMEA

Purpose of the Position:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for preprocessing all data functions to support our risk management services

Responsibilities:

  • Preprocess of all holdings data and enriching with Security Master attributes
  • Perform daily reconciliations on a range of data and analytics
  • Follow existing, clearly defined procedures, to solve routine problems
  • Understanding of Value-at-Risk methods, sensitivity measures and Stress Testing techniques
  • Work co-operatively with other risk groups in different locations and time zones
  • Provide adequate documentation and backup of all operational processes
  •  Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Finance/Economics or related field
  • Typically 1-3 years of experience in Financial Services
  • Strong understanding of financial markets
  • Familiarity with concepts on market risk
  • Attention to detail, strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent PC skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Knowledge of Reuters and Blumberg will be advantageous
