- Identify and develop opportunities and create and maintain relationships with key individuals in target organisations to generate sales growth
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities in Central & Eastern Europe
- Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director Europe
- Ensure proper communication flow with the plant and the New Product Development team
- Ensure that the necessary technical and financial information required for quotations is provided in a timely manner
- Ensure an optimal service level is provided to the customers
- Lead on bids and contract negotiations as required
- Identify critical sales issues and take action as required
- Execute prospection activity to generate and maintain the required sales pipeline volume
- Provide pre sales networking expertise and specifications
- Establish and maintain key relationships at all levels in the customer’s organization
- Develop and manage key business throughout a variety of markets primarily within the Food industry
- Develop and maintain an efficient working cooperation with internal partners (Sales Team, New Product Development Team, Operations, Logistics, Finance)
- Ensure payment of account receivables in a timely manner
- Provide to Senior Management regular reports, statistics, and all required qualitative and quantitative information on the activity
- Provide to Senior Management all market intelligence necessary to assess and understand the business (customers, competitors, market trends, technological trend)
 - University Degree in Commerce or Technical completed by a Sales or Marketing specialization
- 5 years minimum in Sales (Sales Area manager, Key account management or export manager)
- Proven track record in successful sales in B2B industrial markets
- Ability to manage a geographic region remotely
- Capable of selling on various criteria and preparing complex quotation processes
- A proven track record of creating and maintaining strong, trust based relationships with customers
- Competence in initiating and developing relationships at various levels within customer organisations and develop a solid customer networking
- Commercial awareness and entrepreneurial flair; able to spot opportunities quickly and identify potential risk areas
- Commitment to achieving targets. Good personal organisation and focus.
- High level of written and verbal communication skills; able to produce appropriate well-structured presentations and proposals
- Ideally has an experience in packaging or plastics industry
- Extensive travel (car, train, plane)
