Praca Software Tester

Works under general direction and interprets internal/external business issues and recommended best practice in own discipline. Is responsible for planning in scope and time, preparation and execution of the Integration and/or Module Tests for base station software components. These comprise feature analysis, writing test case specifications, preparing test environments, verifying features, validating data, retesting fixes for observed faults and reporting on testing progress. Consults, supports and guides own team’s external interfaces and is responsible for sharing knowledge in his/her expertise area. Gives input to process development.

Position Requirements:

Must have:

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science or Software Technology or an equivalent education;
• good knowledge of software design, implementation and testing methodologies;
• familiarity with test automation tools (e.g. Robot Framework);
• knowledge of network protocols and services (IP, routing);
• good communication in English (both written and spoken);
• readiness to relocate to Wroclaw, living in or nearby;
• team work.

Nice to have:

• experience in script/programming languages (Perl/Python/Shell/Bash);
• basic GSM/UMTS/WCDMA knowledge and experience;
• knowledge of Linux/Unix OS (RHCT/RHCSA or RHCE);
• data base knowledge (Oracle, SQL);
• HTML, CSS, XML;
• knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology;
• other skills, professional knowledge and work experience.
