Praca System Architect - Technical Advisor

He/she has the senior responsibility for specifying, planning, reporting, designing and reviewing in his/her technical area (e.g. system component). Is an expert  for techno-economical aspects in own responsibility area. Leads and executes technical activities and programs within own responsibility area including reviews and relevant technical studies. Supports resource and program planning. Writes requirements, specifications and other guiding documentation for R&D from product/program/system point of view. High contribution to project milestones by solving/avoiding most complex problems, through understanding dependencies across product / system boundaries. Coaches other team members in solving advanced engineering problems at system component level.

Position Description:

We are looking for a candidates able act in two roles: Technical Advisor and Technical Feature Owner.

Technical Advisor is a person to assist program execution, focusing typically on system wide issues, main responsibilities being:

• assisting program manager in system level technical issues and risk management;
• ensuring system gets implemented according to architecture and requirements;
• pin-pointing system level items which have not been taken care;
• supports component teams in understanding system and system requirements correctly;
• supports system testing in test planning;
• supports prompt problem solving and root cause analysis.

Technical Feature Owner has system wide technical ownership of certain features, main responsibilities being:

• co-operation with product management;
• system level specification of feature;
• steering component level design;
• assisting testing and customer documentation;
• assisting implementation of the feature.

Position Requirements:

• experience with network management systems;
• experience in system design;
• good problem solving skills;
• good influencing skills;
• good presentation skills, both verbal & written;
• readiness to relocate to Wroclaw;
• preferably a background as a SW designer.
