    (Cybersecurity Technology) IT Operations Manager
    Location: Kraków

    Logging Lead is responsible for managing existing operations and implementing new operations processes within his or her organization; managing expectations across all stakeholder groups; sharing responsibility for project success; the day-to-day management of IT organization processes, including performance management, plan monitoring and evolution, metrics development, and management; recommending infrastructure improvements; developing, implementing, and ensuring compliance with operational policies and procedures

     

    Key Accountabilities:

    • Manage a team of System Engineers and Operations staff supporting various Cyber Security tools such as McAfee, Symantec, Illumio, QRadar, Resilient, Splunk and Menlo Security.
    • Metrics driven, ability to produce standard ITIL metrics such as Change success rate, tool uptime report, Incident ticket volume etc.
    • Familiarity with various Unix, windows and database platforms such as Linux, AIX, Windows, Oracle, DB2
    • Knowledge of application monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, Dynatrace, CA Wily, Tivoli etc. to help produce KPI’s & KCI’s.
    • Engage and handle appropriate vendor escalations.
    • Manage Patching and Change activity on a weekly/monthly/yearly cycle.
    • Work collaboratively with the Engineering team to identify process efficiencies and help automate operational procedures.
    • Build tool knowledgebase and establish/enhance Standard Operation Procedures (SOP).
    • Establish round the clock monitoring and alerting of Security tools to ensure 99.99% uptime and reduce unscheduled downtime.
    • Hiring and recognizing the right talent for the operations team.
    • Managing and upkeep of asset inventory associated with all Cyber Security tools.
    • Upkeep of license and capacity metrics for all supported tools.

    Requirements:

    • Educated to degree level, within IT.
    • Demonstrable experience of IT Security capability with a minimum of 5-10 years’ experience working in IT Security environments plus relevant IT industry experience.
    • Experience of being a part and contributor to small teams, across different global regions and a desire to build on this experience is essential.
    • Formal education and degree in Information Security, Cyber-security, Computer Science or similar and/or commensurate demonstrated work experience in the same.
