R Systems is looking for a talented Support Engineer fluent in Japanese to join our growing team focused on 1st Line Support.

Your responsibilities

  • Monitor alarms, alerts, and system performance to ensure service levels are maintained and exceeded, taking remedial action to address issues in accordance with the prescribed processes

  • Execute event and analyses reports for various stakeholders

  • Escalate issues in line with operational processes to ensure SLA performance is adhered to

  • Actively communicate the status of issues & events, tracking actions to ensure an appropriate audit trail is in place

  • Assist in the onboarding of operator integrations

Our requirements

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in Japanese (fluent) and English (Intermediate), as you will be working with Japanese customers

  • Passion for IT, even with very little experience (students are also welcome)

  • A can-do attitude and a proven eagerness to learn and acquire new skills

  • Ability to work in shifts 24/7 (of course, your schedule and life-work balance will be greatly taken into account)

  • Level head, calm and clear thinking, open-mindedness, and flexibility
