The Data and Privacy Transformation Programme, within Group COO - Trust, Data & Resilience, aims to uplift data and privacy in existing processes and controls and to improve customer experience. This role will involve working with the various Business and Functions teams, with 2nd line Compliance colleagues and Technology to design, implement & operationalise capabilities for robust, streamlined and customer centric Data & Privacy management.
Support execution of data and privacy management business processes as BAU team member.
Work closely with business units to gain in-depth understanding of current privacy and data related practices, processes, and services.
Take part in privacy and data assessments as well as identify gaps related to legal obligations, policies, standards, and best practices.
Document as-is/to-be process, controls, data flows and mappings.
Prepare and consolidate reports, provide write ups and data visualisations to forums to enable decision making.
Analyze and suggest improvements to business processes, identify risks and propose potential remediation actions and controls.
Support team in solving complex problems and issues related to business processes by suggesting potential solutions.
Willingness to learn.
Min. a bachelor's degree (regardless the discipline) - education in areas related to data / privacy / risk would be an asset.
Good analytical and organizational skills.
Ability to solve problems with nonstandard way of thinking and innovative approach - thinking out of the box.
Knowledge in one of the following areas - Privacy - understanding of privacy laws, and regulations as well as personal data protection challenges would be an asset.
Data - understanding of data management challenges, best practices, and standards would be an asset.
Risk - understanding of risk management components, and controls would be an asset.
MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills (creating presentations / functions / pivot tables / charts) would be an asset.
Fluent English. (written and spoken).
