Your responsibilities
The 2D Graphic Designer creates graphics, animations, and visual effects for our international esports tournaments and events. You will partner with key stakeholders to ensure timely submission requests, revisions, proofing, and corrections are in place to prepare the graphic designs in accordance to the guidelines for designated projects. Provide business strategy support to improve operational effectiveness to achieve quality levels in compliance with international and national standards.
The 2D Graphic Designer reports to our Head of Designer Hub and is a part of our Global Production and Operations team. This position is based out of our office in Katowice, Poland. We are currently working in a remote work environment due to COVID-19, however, this role will be expected to be in the office on a regular basis once restrictions are lifted.
What you’ll do:
• Responsible for creating and implementing graphic designs for print, digital, and television broadcasting; work both as a team and independently
• Support administration of production plans and processes to support optimization and improvement of execution
• Assist with day-to-day production needs including scheduling and coordinating studio time, remote recordings, distributing and archiving visuals
• Taking care of the visual side of our products, searching for new solutions
• Work closely with directors, talent, production team and any other required affiliated functions
• Collaborates closely with internal and external partners on all content, marketing and promotional strategies while implementing innovative tactics to be competitive in the market and grow audiences
• Execute adequate controls and documentation procedures for improved quality
• May liaise with external vendors, contractors or suppliers to ensure that their products or services meet the organization's quality standards
• Identify and resolve recurring issues and suggest modifications related to quality of work methods focusing on increasing efficiency and effectiveness
Our requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in creating graphics and animations supported by a portfolio
- Advanced Adobe package skills (Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator)
- Very good work organization, ability to work under time pressure
- Knowledge of trends in modern design
- Creativity, unconventional thinking, a sense of aesthetics
- Commitment, communication, responsibility
- Demonstrated ability to communicate in English language, both spoken and written (required)
- Experience in the design of television graphics will be a plus
