About the project
We are looking for ABAP Developer to join our team in Warsaw and support SAP area with ongoing implementation of SAP projects and changes. The main role of ABAP developer is to implement SAP custom solutions following best SAP standards, discuss and propose optimal design of implemented changes, provide estimates, documentation and unit tests. ABAP developer works closely with SAP architect and SAP functional consultants.
Your responsibilities
Develop new programs, reports or enhancements on our SAP ERP and SAP Gateway systems
Working on S/4 HANA preparation tasks on technical side
Working in stream which supports mostly SAP SCM/Production/R&D areas
Work closely with SAP functional consultants to identify issues in existing SAP functionality, debug programs and suggest best solution
Consult with SAP functional team and propose technical assessment for required changes
Document changes
Conduct unit tests to newly added functionalities to avoid errors on productive system
Working in alignment with SAP leading developer and architect
Attend team meetings to report on the work progress and communicate issues
Ensure stakeholder needs are being met with the highest quality
Report and manage software concerns throughout the software development lifecycle
Our requirements
At least 3 years of experience as ABAP Developer
Experience in working with SAP BADI, BAPIs, reports, dialog programming, enhancements, IDOCs
Knowledge of integration protocols from/to SAP
Clear formulation of ideas, curiosity
Experience in international projects
Ability to analyze/interpret business and functional requirement
Very good English
Excellent communication skills
Experience with global SAP system roll-out is a plus
Experience in working with SAP PI is a plus
