Your responsibilities
Preparing prompt and accurate entry of lease transactions
Preparing month and quarter end-close activities in relation to the lease accounting, including variance explanations and reconciliations, preparation of Journal Entries and presentation of results
Collaborating with other Akamai departments as part of data collection and validation activities
Reviewing Lease Agreements and ensuring proper accounting treatment under US GAAP
Ensuring Compliance including US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley, Tax and Statutory requirements
Our requirements
Have a working knowledge and understanding of general ledger accounting
Demonstrate decent analytical skills and ability to draw clear and relevant conclusions
Demonstrate ability to create clear and concise documentation
Possess proficiency in Excel
Have experience with Oracle or other ERP applications (a plus)
Have an established IFRS/US GAAP knowledge (a plus)
