Your responsibilities

Who you'll work with:

You will be based in Poznan and will be part of our finance group. You will provide general accounting and analytical support to the finance & accounting office function across a broad range of areas. You will be a member of the local finance team and will work closely with other colleagues whose focus is on local accounting. You will also interact with employees and other stakeholders.

What you'll do:

In this role You will ensure compliance with Polish accounting and tax/VAT regulations and internal accounting regulations and policies. You will also ensure that management accounting is carried out according to US GAAP standards. You will also conduct time and expense reports training for employees.

You will coordinate time and expense reports process for office or function and contact other finance colleagues with regards to time and expense reports. You will respond to colleagues’ inquiries on financial policies and tools (e.g., expense reporting tool) and will provide training on those tools. You will also coach and develop junior colleagues.

You will prepare reports for local payroll team, coordinate Fixed Asset and balance sheet reconciliation processes. You will participate in month end and year end close processes, coordinate documents collection in accordance with local requirement and perform other tasks as may be requested by management.

Our requirements

  • University degree, preferably in Finance

  • 3-5 years of Finance and Accounting experience with knowledge of taxes (e.g. CIT, PIT, VAT) and related processes in a professional service environment

  • Good verbal and written language skills both in Polish and English

  • (B2/C1 - CEFR* or equivalent) Solid MS Office skills (Excel and Word)

  • Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Distinct quality mindset and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills to tailor messages over the phone or via email, both in Polish and English

  • Willingness to learn and share knowledge and experience across regional and organizational boundaries
