Your responsibilities
- Processes and reviews of general ledger accounts in line with accounting standards and statutory requirements under Polish GAAPs.
- Prepares annual financial statement and tax return according to the Polish accounting, tax and legal requirements.
- Contributes to financial statement reporting according to local and Group Financial Policies and Procedures.
- Prepares financial reporting and analysis.
- Processes payroll (calculating total wage earnings, withholding deductions etc.).
- Provides support in preparation and review of financial statements and external audits.
Employer requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent, Master’s degree would be an asset.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in accounting departments.
- Knowledge of local accounting principles, including IFRS.
- Familiar with internal control concepts.
- Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle diverse workload and work in deadline dedicated environment.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
- Proficient computer skills with MS Office, ERP, Symfonia and accounting systems experience.
