Accountant

Your responsibilities

• As our new Accountant, you will be responsible for accounting of the Polish companies in the European Energy group. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, including coordinating tasks and topics with Accountants and Financial Controllers in HQ, and provide business support to other departments in European Energy. Moreover, you will have contact to external stakeholders such as the Polish authorities and local tax advisors.

• As a person, you are thorough and structured. You have a background in accounting and solid experience within accounting in Poland. You have good interpersonal and communication skills and find yourself working well with internal stakeholders across departments and at all levels as well as external stakeholders. You moreover thrive working in an international environment with fast growth.

• Accounting of Polish companies in the European Energy group

• Daily bookkeeping and bank payments

• Financial reconciliation of accounts

• Period end tasks

• VAT, tax, and other local filings in collaboration with external advisors

• Collaboration with external auditors

• Optimization of tasks and processes
