Your responsibilities
Responsible for the timely and correct handling of all matters concerning the day to day bookkeeping of the client portfolio
Monitoring of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank, lettering and payments
Preparation and assistance of monthly, quarterly, and year end reporting’s of the clients under the requested format
Preparation of VAT, corporate income tax returns, withholding tax returns, and other filings
Monthly and annual closing transactions; preparation of annual financial statements
Preparation of closing files and all supporting documentation
Supervision of the junior accountants
Our requirements
Professional knowledge of English (B2 level minimum);
Knowledge of basic accounting rules
Finance and Accounting or similar background will be preferred
At least 2 years’ experience in accounting firms or multinational environment;
Autonomy, anticipation, responsiveness, hands on mentality and team spirit is key
Good communication skills towards managers and subordinates (Junior Accountant);
Good level of Microsoft office tools (Excel, Outlook, Teams) is an asset

Job purpose
As Associate Accountant, you will be part of TMF’s accounting department in Belgium. You will be working in English language and you will be responsible for full accounting support to our international clients in their establishment and development in Belgium. Under the supervision of a Senior Accountants/ Supervisor, you will be required to perform all types of work on your client portfolio, in all areas of the accounting expertise.
At this role you will have possibility to work fully remotely.
