Your responsibilities

  • Ensure that the finance and accounting records are kept accurate and timely in line with company policies and are properly reflected in the system

  • Liaise closely with local and regional finance team on all country financial issues

  • Timely and proper escalation of all issues to the management and internal customers

  • Review Intercompany reports and timely completion of Monthly reports

  • Prepare the US Inter-co accounts on a monthly basis

  • Review the calculated Transfer profit (TP) schedule used for elimination purposes

  • Update Account coding for incoming wire/post receipts in Accounts Receivable

  • Record intercompany billing including booking intercompany loan interest for US entities and revalue US loans

  • Enter balances into BMG banking system for netting process and initiate settlement process for non-BMG countries

  • Submit coding to Account Payables for intercompany payment application

  • Review the monthly Financial Statement commentary and contact finance managers with any further queries

  • Review of OneStream forms completed by finance teams and follow up for any discrepancies

  • Review of balance sheet account reconciliations in accordance with the policy

  • Timely responsiveness to Corporate / local requests for information

  • Other tasks as requested by the supervisor/manager

Our requirements

  • Preferably 2-3 years of experience within Finance / Accounting (General Ledger) in an International, US parent advantageous

  • Higher education in economics/finance/accounting

  • Good all-round knowledge of US GAAP

  • Experienced with ERP systems (Oracle as an asset)

  • Experienced with consolidation systems (preferably OneStream)

  • Microsoft Office knowledge to an advanced level, particularly Excel

  • Very good command of English (fluent level)

  • Ability to communicate in a professional way with upper management, other departmental teams, and finance professionals at all levels, both internally and external

About the role:

The Regional Accounting Analyst role is key in helping manage the accounting and controlling center of excellence for EMEA, ensuring that all EMEA reporting is delivered timely and accurately and conforms with applicable accounting standards and company policies and procedures. In this role, you will support the Supervisor, by helping take responsibility for ensuring the regional team meets the US / EMEA / Corporate Reporting Deadlines.
