Your responsibilities
Ensure accurate accounting & completeness in transfer of accounting from product systems to the general ledger
Partner with other operations teams and business stakeholders to ensure any accounting breaks are investigated in a timely manner and resolved
Support other operational teams to ensure there are no upstream or downstream issues with the transactions
Participate in a culture of continuous improvement with focus on improving processes & delivery efficiency as well as a world class customer experience
Support reporting requirements for legal entity & business finance controllers
Participate in working groups supporting strategic platform changes
Our requirements
Good attention to detail & problem solving skills
Ability to interact with both JPMC Line of Businesses (LOBs) and finance teams independently
Good time management and prioritization skills
Good MS Office suite skills (Excel, Word, Power Point)
Strong oral and written communication skills
SAP knowledge will be value added
Degree or significant previous equivalent work experience in accounting
Outstanding analytical, organizational and research skills with attention to details

Job Description:
You will be a team member of professionals in Corporate Functions covering a diverse range of areas from finance and risk to human resources and marketing. You will be essential part of the company, ensuring that we’re setting our businesses, clients, customers and employees up for success.
You will be managing the source-to-pay cycle, engaging with suppliers, negotiating contracts, conducting risk assessments and evaluating the customer experience. Global teams support sourcing, third party oversight, procurement and payment operations, supplier relationship management and customer experience. You'll be placed as a member in one of the teams where you'll work on:
Fixed Asset - capitalization of assets, performing asset maintenance requests & performing various control reconciliations to ensure accurate and complete accounting.
Reconciliation - perform reconciliations of Bank accounts, AP liability accounts, Balance sheet accounts, Indirect Tax accounts & other control accounts
