Accounting & External Reporting AnalystNumer ref.: 134904
The position of Accounting & External Reporting Analyst includes responsibilities around statutory / U.S. GAAP reporting of 6 Polish legal entities. The position supports activities performed by 3rd party service providers during month / quarter / year end close, and statutory audit.

This is a temporary role for 12 months.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support accounting and external reporting activities including accurate and timely U.S. GAAP reporting and timeliness and integrity of statutory financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, etc.
  • Support activities performed by Mondelēz International Business Services/third-party service providers during month/quarter/year-end close, statistical reporting and statutory audit
  • Contribute to strong controls & compliance environment and comply with Mondelēz International’s AER policies as well as support audit activities and provide information on auditors' request
  • Review, monitor and evaluate statutory financial statements preparation process, provide business input and review of the deliverables of service providers. company.
  • Review, monitor and evaluate the outcome of 3rd party service providers within statutory, US GAAP and tax accounting area
  • Provide input and review additional statutory and tax reporting requirements (i.e. GAAP to GAAP reconciliation, Directors’ reporting and other statutory analysis).
  • Perform moderately complex analysis of performance results as requested
Qualifications:
  • Extensive practical knowledge of Polish accounting standards
  • At least a year of experience in finance / accounting independent positions
  • Audit background and knowledge of Polish tax regulations would be an advantage.
  • Accounting or Financial University degree
  • English and Polish language is a must
  • Good MS Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables, vlookup)
  • Self -driven, reliable, trustworthy, proactive with a “can do” attitude and a high sense of responsibility to deliver the expected results.
