    EMEIA Tax Centre (ETC) is a center spanning across countries in EMEIA specializing in delivery of integrated finance solutions across the Regions and Sub-service lines. By using and developing the newest technologies including automation and analytic tools we are addressing the needs of our global clients in the rapidly changing tax environment.
     
    The GCR group withinEY’s EMEIA Tax Centre comprises a team of approximately 180 dynamic people spread across 13 countries and more than 20 sites. We have specialist skill sets spanning the areas of:

    We have an exciting opportunity to join EY’s Global Compliance & Reporting (GCR) group within our EMEIA Tax Centre and are currently seeking Manager to join the ETC’s Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Poland to support our Global Clients in:
    • multi country Corporate/ Group Accounting process from General Ledger review and Balance Sheet reconciliation through month end processes monitoring and finance analysis to audit files preparation.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Coordinate the global corporate accounting process for Global Clients;
    • Coordinate and review the activities that are performed in the Centers of Excellence and EY local offices;
    • Coordinate and review month end process for multi – entity engagements;
    • Liaise with the Client Global Process Owners on the accounting processes and continuous improvement opportunities;
    • Develop, implement and manage new client strategic processes;
    • Coach, develop and growth the team of junior and senior accountants.

    Qualifications:

    • Strong project management skills, strong analytical skills and international focus;
    • 6-10 years of work experience in audit/accounting, and a minimum of 3 years of experience in working with global clients;
    • Qualified chartered accountant (ACCA, CIMA, KIBR) is an asset;
    • IFRS and US-GAAP knowledge, GAAP bridging experience is an asset;
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills in Business English; knowledge of other foreign languages (French, Spanish, etc.) is an asset.
