Your responsibilities
Being a people team leader, overseeing and managing the performance and driving the development in Accounting Team
Responsible for review, analysis and decisions regarding quality of the balance sheet and profit & loss accounts and direct tax reporting
Responsible for month-end closing incl. preparation of financial & tax reporting, responsibility for statutory financial statement in accordance with IFRS and statistical reports
Ensuring compliance between local regulations and company policies to lead and ensure roll-out of company’s standards and policies. Understand the current and new legislation, follow and implement accounting and tax regulatory changes
Drive the optimization initiatives, participate in other projects,
Provide support to other team members in day-to-day processes and support the manager with current priorities
Our requirements
strong knowledge of IFRS accounting and good knowledge on taxation,
+3 years of experience with team management,
proven experience with statutory financial reports preparation at similar position in a multinational company or Shared Service Center multifunctional role,
good knowledge of all accounting processes,
graduation in accounting/finance related,
strong interpersonal and communication skills, positive attitude.
English level: B2/C1

Information about the squad
You will be managing team of accountants being a part of Centre of Expertise Finance in ING Hubs Poland responsible for local books in accordance with IFRS, including responsibility for balance sheet and profit & loss accounts and direct tax reporting, month-end closing, compliance with local and group regulations and procedures.
You will also have the opportunity to cooperate with finance departments in other branches of ING Hubs, but also in various countries within the ING structure and take part in initiatives and projects
