    Accounting Manager

    Salary: PLN 12,000 - 15,000

    Are you a natural born improver with a knack for accounting? We are building an internal accounting team. You will have a great impact on the new hires and their goals. We are a part of the BOLD family with offices in San Francisco, Puerto Rico, India, and Warsaw. If you want to gain international experience and want to help us scale the company in other markets, this is your dream job! 

    What you’ll do:

    • Perform and oversee the daily accounting activities required to maintain the general ledger
    • Manage a team of 1-3
    • Review and manage Balance Sheet reconciliations and ensure proper controls are in place
    • Perform tax calculations and declarations (VAT, VAT MOSS, CIT, PIT, ZUS, WHT)
    • Manage the preparation and provide work papers to external tax preparers
    • Prepare Standard Audit File (JPK-Jednolity Plik Kontrolny)
    • Perform and manage the implementation of internal ERP system
    • Perform and manage the booking of foreign transactions along with exchange differences calculation
    • Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes including review of general ledger postings
    • Manage cash flow projections and bank reconciliation process
    • Understand and manage Payroll and Benefits
    • Manage other compensation components such as REIU program (employee stock option programmes)
    • Participate in preparation of operating budgets
    • Identify areas of improvement within the accounting team and close cycle
    • Develop and improve controls for all accounting procedures
    • Support Finance Team in planning and implementation of financial activities 


    You’ll be a perfect fit if you have:

    • 5-8 years of experience in accounting,
    • Ability to meet deadlines
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
    • Excellent mathematical skills
    • High attention to detail
    • Very strong communication skills
    • Effective time management skills
    • Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment

    Preferred Skills and Abilities:

    • Accounting experience with technology or related industry
    • Experience with US GAAP, IFRS, and accounting differences

    • 12 000 - 15 000 PLN net + VAT (B2B contract)
    • 9 900 -  12 500 PLN gross (labor contract)
