Accounting Specialist (UK/USA)

Your responsibilities

  • Support of our UK/USA subsidiary in their finance and accounting processes

  • Active participation in the implementation of the new accounting and financial software Microsoft Dynamics NAV

  • Influence the creation of internal procedures

  • Monitor, process and manage timely transactions keeping everything on track

  • Verification and posting of bank statements

  • Controlling and solving irregularities in the settlement process

  • Preparation of payments to suppliers

  • Clearing and reconciling accounting account balances (A / P, A / R, inter-company transactions)

  • Preparation of monthly cost reports for the Controlling Department

  • Execute special tasks in the financial accounting and assistance in clarification of accounting issue

  • Cooperation in internal and external audits

  • Cooperation with the Accounting Manager in the process of preparation of annual standalone and consolidated financial statements.

Our requirements

  • Education background in Finance & Accounting

  • Experience in the area of finance and billing, accountant (2 years)

  • Fluency in spoken and written English is a must (constant cooperation with the UK/USA) and the ability to communicate effectively in this language

  • Very good and practical knowledge of MS Excel

  • Forward thinking and planning ahead is a must

  • Practical knowledge of financial, accounting and reporting processes

  • Good knowledge of ERP class programs, knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 will be an additional advantage

  • Experience in cooperation in constantly changing international environment

  • Highly developed interpersonal skills

  • Analytical skills

  • Independence, accuracy, commitment, initiative

  • Very good organization of own work
