Your responsibilities
Prepare single financial statements according to Polish and international accounting standards for consolidated companies from the RWE Renewables Poland Group
Prepare reporting packages for the purpose of group consolidation and other financial statements resulting from local regulations
Develop accounting principles and account treatment for business events and transactions
Cooperate with the Shared Services Center, which keeps accounting records for companies from the RWE Renewables Poland group
Support the audit process of financial statements
Coordinate the work of the external tax office, check the correctness of tax returns
Report to the Company's Headquarters in terms of Taxes
Our requirements
University degree in accounting or finance
Minimum 2-3 year accounting experience including general ledger (financial reporting experience is a plus)
IFRS and SAP FI knowledge will be an advantage
Tax law knowledge will be an advantage
Good knowledge of the MS Office package, in particular, Word and Excel
Fluent English and Polish
Openness to new tasks and willingness to develop

Additional Information
In the role of Accounting Specialist you will be responsible for whole finance support for SPVs from RWE portfolio in Poland, which is growing dynamically in the renewable energy industry (wind and solar energy). You will be part of the international Finance team within RWE Renewables, which gives opportunity to work with people all over the world including Australia and US in order to ensure compliance with international accounting standards and group policies.
