Your responsibilities

  • Work with the Financial Planning & Analysis professionals to review, analyze and report monthly results

  • Work with the outside tax advisors to complete required tax returns

  • Ensure that the inventory reconciliation process is coordinated with FP&A where necessary and provide financial support to the Supply Chain function, including assistance with physical inventories for all territories.

  • Act as key partner to the Finance Director and Controller in developing scalable financial processes and controls and identifying control weaknesses; recommend and implement process improvements

  • Coordinate and complete the quarterly financial reviews and year-end audits;

  • Assist Finance Director with statutory filings in every region,

  • Ensure proper oversight of payroll payments, banking, AP, AR, credit control and GL accounting

  • Maintain required accounting documentation in support of relevant legal, regulatory, and audit requirements

  • Work closely with the US-based accounting team, especially on the consolidation of group results

  • Work towards the company values at all times

Our requirements

  • BA / MA degree in Finance /Accounting / Controlling or equivalent

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience including leading a team through a month end close; strong understanding of revenue and cost transactions; and completion of statutory financial statements.

  • Professional qualification CIMA /ACCA

  • Previous experience of IFS accounting system

  • Experience preparing statutory financial statements

  • Experience operating in a SOX environment

  • Strong technical acumen in IFRS and US GAAP

  • Strong Excel and accounting systems skills
