Your responsibilities
Book all transactions in the system in order to ensure the current status of the settlements
Check the status of the settlements, making compensations and taking the necessary actions in order to settle receivables in a timely manner
Contribute to the timely and accurate completion of tasks relating to the monthly closing process
Cooperate with other departments within Gates
Deliver results according to the set goals (KPIs) in order to contribute to the effective realization of team objectives
Keep process documentation up-to-date
Our requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in AR accounting
Knowledge of customer service process considered an asset
Experience partnering effectively throughout an organization to develop and drive regional initiatives
Track record of process improvement initiatives considered an asset
Knowledge of US GAAP considered an asset
Knowledge of MS Office and Accounting/ERP systems (i.e., SAP)
Fluent written and spoken English
Masters degree in Finance or Accounting
Minimum 2 years' Finance/Accounting experience in an international company
Experience in working in an OTC team within a SSC/BPO
Strong communication skills and desire to learn
Proven track record of implementing process improvements
