About the project
The Central IT Operations team inside Eurofins is responsible for maintaining centrally provided IT services (e.g.: AD, MS Exchange, Skype For Business, Teams, servers, storage, monitoring, backup, physical hardware, cloud services, etc.) in collaboration with other IT teams and according to defined processes (e.g. Incident Management and Change Management).
Operating IT services provided from centrally hosted either in the cloud or strategic Data Centres.
Ensure that IT Services managed by the Central IT Operations team are delivered effectively to business customers. This includes the execution of SOPs, management of IT Incidents, IT Changes and IT Problems in ITSM based system on the related processes, procedures and work instructions.
Operate and install on Enterprise-level Infrastructure for providing Microsoft services.
ITIL approach to resolve technical problems.
Perform daily system monitoring.
Contact to vendor technical support for Priority 1 incidents.
Cooperate closely with the rest of IT Infrastructure & Operations, Architecture and Security teams.
Administer the Active Directory forest, including AD based DNS, DFS.
Familiarity with enterprise multi-forest Infrastructure models.
Create and maintain already applied GPOs and AGPM.
Manage the AD based DNS, DFS, ADFS.
Automate repetitive tasks with PowerShell scripting.
Operate the AD environment with best practices for capacity, redundancy and performance. Follow, audit and improve security on the overall environment, including Tiering/Delegation model.
Assists in projects by mapping changes, improve and analyze changes, introduce plan to be decided upon.
Manage Active Directory related incidents and escalate them to L3/Manufacturer if needed.
