The global Documentation Department houses and maintains literature including approx. 8000 active installation instructions, test reports, technical drawings, data sheets, kit content lists, etc. We are currently seeking a team member who will be in charge of administering these documents in the relevant systems and data bases. The successful applicant will report to the global Manager of the Technical Documentation Department and partner with our India Documentation Team, the global Product Managers, Sales Teams and Product Data-Management. The role includes allocating document numbers and descriptions, as well as maintaining the online repositories, folders, lists, indices and servers in good state. Editing documents and proofreading will be part of the daily business, as well as line-to-line reviews. In addition, the team member will create purchase requisitions in SAP and manage translations.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Administration of literature, communication and editing documents:
  • Actively maintain our repositories, servers and folders
  • Allocate document numbers, update and maintain indices
  • Coordinate part number creation and kit content changes (BOM changes) with the product
Data Management team:
  • Manage mass change projects with PM
  • Revision management
  • Handle InDesign files before translation and after translation
  • Handle documents in our documentation management systems DMTEC and PDMLINK
  • Administer test reports
  • Support the manufacturing department in tracing causes for missing documents
  • Produce SAP reports on, eg. usage, costing, overdues
  • Create purchase requisitions in SAP
  • Manage translations
  • Assist in editing documents
  • Review drafts
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics or Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience in managing sourcing projects and prioritizing multiple key activities in strategic/direct purchasing
  • Experience in cost analysis, price breakdowns
  • Experience in supplier management
  • Required Skills
  • Fluent English
  • Very Strong analytical and computer-skills
  • Critical thinking & curiosity
  • Strong potential and willingness to grow within Procurement organization
